Jakarta – After ensuring that Alfred Riedl is no longer working for the Indonesian national team, the task of leading the squad “Garuda” in the 2013 World Cup qualifying match against Turkmenistan submitted to Wim Rijsbergen.

Reported previously, Riedl stated no longer train the Indonesian national team starting tomorrow, because there is no clear contract at PSSI.
“He was not contracted by PSSI. We are looking for contract, there was no letter of the contract, the contract was not clear. Later we’ll finish it,” said Djohar.
Because of the agenda of the match against Turkmenistan is very closer, team management were change quickly, and it was done. In addition, besides removing Alfred Riedl, PSSI set the name as head coach, he is Wim Rijsbergen, and Rahmat Darmawan (local couch) become as the assistant, and Ferry Nature as a manager.
Rijsbergen was recorded as the former Dutch international player and has appeared in the 1974 World Cup and 1978. He had been the assistant of Leo Beenhakker at the 2006 World Cup, and was coaching Trinidad & Tobago national team in 2007.
Finally he dealt with PSM Makassar Indonesia to play in the Indonesian Premier League.
“Wim prepared for two games in World Cup qualifiers against Turkmenistan first. We’ll see it,” explained Bob Hippy.
When he was asked why PSSI does not maintain Riedl, he said, “It’s not that easy, because many problems that have not finished with him (about the contract).”
“Riedl”‘s contract was with Mr. Nirwan (Bakrie). It should be with the institutions (federations, PSSI), it can not be from a personal, even though Mr. Nirwan’s was the first deputy chairman of PSSI, “he continued.
Bob adds, there is likely to keep Rield to work in PSSI but in other positions. “We will be doing talks soon today or tomorrow morning with Riedl. Whether it be a technical director or something. The important thing is Mr. Nirwan have given years of Mr. Farid Rahman (Vice President of PSSI), that Riedl still be used.”
Another figure who questioned his status is Faith Arif, deputy Agency National Team. Concerning Imam, Bob suggested a changes, but he has not decided the final result.
“There’s a change, but do not know who the content. The important thing now is to managed the national team going to Turkmenistan.”
Related to the Ferry Kodrat as the team manager, Bob said it was not a problem because the most important thing now is to choose the coach and thr assistant coach.
